Snacks. The food that we eat between meals to keep us going. 1-2 Snacks can fit into your daily diet to help reduce your hunger between meals and keep your metabolism going. Here are some simple healthy snack ideas for you to attack:

– Apple or Banana + Peanut Butter

– Carrots and Celery + Peanut Butter

– Pumpkin or Sunflower Seeds

– Hardboild Egg

-Yogurt + Low-fat Granola

-Corn Tortilla Chips and Salsa

-Brown Rice Cakes + Nut Butter

-Home Made Trail Mix= 100% Whole Grain Cereal + Favorite Nuts + Favorite Dried Fruit + Dark Chocolate Chips

-Popcorn + Cinnamon and Sugar Sprinkle

– Greek Yogurt + Berries

-Smoothie= Favorite Greens + Favorite “milk” + Favorite Fruit

Green Smoothie

– Bell Pepper Slices + Hummus

-Edamame

-100% Fruit Juice Popsicle

– Cottage Cheese + Favorite Fruit or Veggie

– 100% Whole Grain Cereal with Milk

Two-Ingredient Cookies

This list could probably go on forever, but these are just a few of my favorites to get you snacking!
