Ahhh I’m so bummed that this weekend is over. It went by way to fast! It was so nice to be home with my family, and I took off Friday from work so it made it extra nice 🙂
The Good
– Getting to hang-out with my family for 3 days! We even broke out the Easter tradition of coloring eggs, even though we are now all “grown-ups”.
-Then with the leftover hardboiled eggs, we made some deviled eggs for our Easter meal, delish! The recipe I used can be found here. I used some light mayo for the dressing because that is what I had on hand, but you could also replace it with plain yogurt.
The Bad
-We did a family bowling night, and well lets just say I didn’t even break a hundred. However, I did get a few spares, and it was glow-bowling so even more fun 🙂
– I’m a grown up and I still love getting an Easter basket. And yes I indulge in Peeps, they are a childhood favorite. Plus they taste even better when they are blown up in the microwave. Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this?
The Ugly
-Traffic. Traffic. Traffic.
-Rain. Rain. Rain.
-The whole ride back was NOT very pleasant, but I’d suffer through it again because the trip home is always worth it.
How did you celebrate Easter?

Glad to know I’m not the only sub-par bowler. 🙂
Happy Easter!
Hahaha, Hope you enjoyed your Easter 🙂
Sounds like a wonderful Easter celebration! Maybe you should use bumpers next time you bowl… I love those things!
Yeah I think I might need to stop letting my pride getting the best of me and just go for the bumpers. haha.
I’m with Sally on the bowling bumpers! I refuse to go unless they let me put them up! 🙂
PS – You’re NEVER too old for Easter baskets or egg dyeing! 🙂
Okay good, I was worried I was getting to old. I guess there is always time to indulge in childhood memories 🙂
I would love for you to come link up to my Tuesday Blog Hop!!
